Blocked Drains, CCTV Inspections & Pipe Locating
ProFix clears blocked sinks, showers, toilets, sewer and stormwater drains across Brisbane's western suburbs — usually the same day, using professional high-pressure water jetting equipment that removes tree roots, grease and stubborn blockages for good.
We don't stop at clearing the blockage: a CCTV drain camera inspection is included with all sewer and stormwater drain clearing work, so you know the drain is fully clear and exactly what caused the problem. $0 call-out 7am–5pm Monday to Friday, and a fixed price before any work starts.
Signs you have a blocked drain
Slow-draining sinks, showers or baths
Toilets that won't flush properly or keep backing up
Gurgling sounds and unpleasant sewer smells
Overflow Relief Gully (the outdoor grate) overflowing
Stormwater drains overflowing in heavy rain
Blockages that keep coming back — often tree roots or damaged pipes
How we clear it — and make sure it stays clear
We start by listening — what's been happening, and for how long. An initial assessment tells us whether the problem sits in the sewer or stormwater system. We clear the blockage with professional drain-cleaning equipment, then run the CCTV camera through the pipe to confirm it's flowing correctly and identify what caused it. If repairs are recommended, our electronic pipe locator pinpoints the exact spot underground, and you get the findings in plain English with fixed-price options. Everything tested, everything left clean.
How our CCTV drain camera and pipe locating work
The camera goes inside the pipe and shows us — and you, if you'd like to see the footage — exactly what's happening: tree roots, grease build-up, a collapsed section, cracked joints or offsets. If a repair is needed, the electronic locator pinpoints the position and depth of the fault from above ground. That accuracy is what keeps costs down: it means minimal excavation, no guesswork, and a fixed-price quote based on facts. And if the camera finds no defects, you have something just as valuable — certainty that the drain is completely clear.
What the $129 blocked drain special covers
The $129 special covers simple, easily accessible blockages that can be cleared with a manual plunger — ideal for minor sink, basin, shower or toilet blockages. If plunging can't clear it, or the problem needs investigation, we'll explain the situation and give you a fixed-price quote before doing anything further — that might involve high-pressure water jetting, a CCTV inspection, pipe locating, tree root removal, or clearing the main sewer or stormwater line. No hidden charges, ever — you approve the price before we proceed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you unblock my drain today?
01
Yes — we aim to provide same-day service wherever possible. Call before midday and we can usually get to you the same day.
Will you need to dig up my yard?
02
Usually not. Most blockages clear without excavation. If we find a damaged pipe, we locate the exact spot first and explain your repair options — so any digging is targeted, not exploratory.
What causes blocked drains?
03
The usual suspects: tree roots, grease build-up, wet wipes, sanitary products, foreign objects, collapsed pipes and ageing drainage systems. The CCTV camera tells us which one you're dealing with.
How much does it cost to unblock a drain?
04
Every blockage is different, so we assess first and give you a fixed price before any work starts. Simple plunger-clearable blockages are covered by our $129 special.
